The rules in RED are NYEB specific.

  • Starting with the Fall 2010 there will no longer be courtesy runners for the pitcher or the catcher.
  • Any starter can re-enter once. A sub once taken out of the lineup cannot re-enter
  • No game can end in a tie unless do to darkness. Starting with the first extra inning we immediately revert to the "California tie-breaker rule"
  • If batting your whole line-up and a player is inured/needs to leave, an out will be recorded EVERY time his spot comes up in the order.
  • Filing a proper protest needs to be done PRIOR to throwing the next pitch.
  • Teams may choose to bat their entire roster and have free defensive substitution. If this option is chosen, an out will be recorded if any batting spot is vacated during the course of the game.
  • Games are either 6 or 7 innings. No team can decide to play one 9 inning game to count as two games.
  • You can bat 9,10 (EH) or the entire lineup. You are also allowed one DH for any batter.
